What are the criteria by which the EU determines that you're a journalist? If I were to go meet that criteria and then get myself banned off of Twitter, would the EU go to bat for me and sanction the richest man in the world? The answer is probably not. So why this then? There's something more interesting going on here. I would guess at least one of these journalists has some role somewhere a bit more important to someone powerful than just "journalist."
