You could also look at the 15+" devices there appear to be a couple lines that aren't soldered. The notebook selector page seems to be fairly accurately describing the memory type and how many channels are soldered.
- amts 4y agoI googled a bit, and [1] shows that: Here are all the current models without soldered RAM: • E14 / E15 Gen 2 (1x SO-DIMM, Intel only) • L14 / L15 Gen 2 (2x SO-DIMM) • T15p / P15v Gen 2 (2x SO-DIMM) • X1 Extreme / P1 Gen 3 (2x SO-DIMM) • P15 / T15g / P17 Gen 1 (4x SO-DIMM) All other models have completely or partially soldered RAM.
