Tiny Code Christmas
- manicennui 4y ago"Tiny Code Christmas is an event to help you take your first steps in demoscene sizecoding with Lua based fantasy consoles like TIC-80 and PICO-8!"
- dylan604 4y agoWow, such a fun way to introduce oneself to a new environment. Kudos for the idea and bringing it to fruition for others to enjoy and follow.
- JeanMarcS 4y agoGreat idea !
- stevekemp 4y agoI watched the first three days, and they were produced really well. The explanation of the code, and the room for experimentation was divided really well. Great implementation, I could see some younger kids having a lot of fun with this for example.
- elroyjetgil 4y agoPerfect :) Love it.
- agentultra 4y agoLove this. Demo was a big influence on my when I was first learning coding as a kid. All those demos! So cool. It would be nice if there was a version of AoC where the puzzles stayed small and didn’t progressively get more difficult until it becomes a time sink and you’re ignoring your family because damnit the bug is in here somewhere… Ahem. This is nice.
- john-radio 4y agoThe old Advent of Code puzzles are still online, so you could start in 2015 and do day 1, 2016 day 1, and so on.

- Shared404 4y agoAlso #lovebyte on ircnet. The two rooms are bridged, though I haven't participated much outside of watching occasionally.
- datameta 4y agoHaven't strayed from JS code golfing yet - this is a great opportunity to learn how to play with the TIC-80 and PICO-8!
