I'm not defending his choice to ban it. The person I was responding to made the claim that the journalists were banned without even having posted the banned information. If that's true, that's bad in a different way than the choice to ban the information in the first place. My position is that I don't like his decision to ban this information, but I understand it. If, however, he is using this as an excuse to capriciously ban his enemies, that is something I don't like a lot more.
