- dclusin 4y agoDid not realize that these laws apply outside of politics and do not just relate to business with elected officials or members of government.
- eatbitseveryday 4y agoWell you can go to jail for selling corporate private data to foreign governments too. There were some cases of nationals from China doing this.
- tehlike 4y agoThere are even espionage laws. You need such laws to be a good place of business.
- JoeAltmaier 4y agoI think it became politics when he became an agent of a foreign government.
- refurb 4y agoI thought the same thing as well but apparently the law is broader than just direct interactions with government. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_Agents_Registration_Act https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_Agents_Registration_Ac...

- defrost 4y agoHe was hired as "Media Partnerships Manager for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region" Fun fact - Twitter spans the world and many parts of the world aren't filled with Anglo names.
- byhemechi 4y agoI don't see any reason to deny the man solely based on his name that is not just overt racism.
- hulitu 4y agoLess than 4 years ? For espionage ? And others are treatened with life ?
