Biden releases most JFK assassination records – but withholds thousands
- galaxyLogic 4y agoIt seems pretty obvious that documents they are withholding are the ones they should have released. Why else would they not release them all. A good tactic to avoid disclosure is to censor much more than actually needs to be censored from the start and then later when public absolutely demands the release THEN release the parts for which there was no reason to withhold them to begin with. I mean what could possibly be the reason to release some but not all of the documents? There must be some reason. If names and phone-numbers need to be protected then black them out but don't hide whole documents.
- cyanydeez 4y agoAs long as any party is still alive associated with the event, there could be security concerns.
- galaxyLogic 4y agoNo doubt. But they could black out names and addresses and talk about "Agent XXXX" and "Agent YYYY". I assume they are already doing that for much of the documents. It's more like, what secrets could there be assuming the official Oswald theory is correct? Oswald did it alone. I can't imagine that fact was discovered by some secret agents who now must be protected. Unless it is not really true. And if it is not really true then American people deserve to know about it. If there's no information that someone else was involved besides Oswald, then there's no reason to hide that fact -- because no information was found that would prove otherwise. There's no reason to hide missing evidence, because you cannot hide something that doesn't exist.
