I think the correct take away is spending on education is only very loosely coupled to outcomes once some very low threshold is met.
- fastaguy88 4y agoOr that there are many factors that affect test scores (and many more alternatives competing for students’ attention). And, looking at average scores and average spending probably makes more subtle relationships more difficult to tease out. But it is hard for me to believe that increased funding is a bad thing for students.
