In 2014, I made about $3,500 for about a million views (and related licensing) on a single video I uploaded to YouTube once...
Since then the company has dodged paying me and they have posted the video to multiple social media sites.
The words "Internet" and "Scam" are rapidly converging more and more ever year. The problem with the current "creator economy" is that people spend a lot of time and money only to find out later that they won't get paid, while web sites and apps rack up the money and then lie about statistics and the opportunity they create.
More money (mostly in the form of unpaid labor) has probably been stolen over time on social media than FTX if you really think about it.
