Propaganda article is propaganda. They're only falling flat with a specific group of people that listen to media that refuses to acknowledge anything that goes against their activist message.
There's a large portion of the country that they're not "falling flat" with.
- rektide 4y agoPerhaps, "falling flat with objective reality." These folks are wrong, mad, & being hammered non-stop by their media that these are huge scandals. But they're not. If these organizations & these viewers had any sense of scope these would be periodic footnotes, not major continual topics. It's low journalism meant to inflame.
- DrThunder 4y agoI don't agree. I think sites like Politico are trying to force people into believing that. For me, the government heavily influencing speech through their tech giant proxy of choice is an explicit denial of 1st amendment rights. I don't see how that isn't a huge scandal. Any attempt from these media outlets to downplay that into something that's not worthy of attention just strengthens my conviction that it is worrisome. Why do you believe this is "low level journalism"? It's certainly no more low level that reporting on Trump's tweets for half a decade.
