Is there any reason to believe this was done on behalf of the Chinese government, rather than out of personal feeling? I'm not saying it's a right way to act, but absent government encouragement, it doesn't seem very interesting.
- midoridensha 4y agoIt looks very much like it's just some pro-CCP activist who's a complete hypocrite by living in the US while working against other Chinese who support democracy. The federal government is simply making an example of him due to current tensions with China and reports of Chinese police stations in other countries.
