Fragile X is extremely comorbid with autism (IIRC 50%) but rarely the other way around. I wouldn’t at all think a treatment for FXS means a treatment for autism (outside of cases directly related to FXS) if anybody was wondering. One is caused by a specific mutation of a gene, the other one is a dogs breakfast of causes that present similarly. I was screened for FXS and I don’t have it so this won’t do any good for me.
