Ask HN: Word for Tab Misclick
Is there a word for when you want to click on an open tab but you accidentally click the 'x' and close the tab? Is there a tab x misclick undo command?
- themodelplumber 4y agoShift Ctrl T to undo. Shift Command T on Mac I think.
- Eddy_Viscosity2 4y agoThat worked, many thanks.
- fghjjytfcxvb 4y agobad defaults? silly user? there are many terms to pick. nobody should have those X on their tabs. just disable it and click tabs you want to close with the middle mouse button/three finger touchpad click.
- solardev 4y agoHow do you disable them?
- hairofadog 4y agoThe word you’re looking for is “sniglet”.
