I just checked my Amazon order history and I bought my Nest thermostat 10 years ago this past October. I’ve got some beef with the original design, for example there’s no good reason why they don’t support a local thermocouple versus Wi-Fi local weather, but overall I have to say it’s been a welcome addition to that household. The installation was painless and with a propane furnace I’m certain that it has saved me thousands of dollars over the years.
