I have picked up solo board gaming as a hobby this year. It’s been great. I’ve been trying to get friends to play board games with me for years, no one is really interested. So. I decided. What the hell. I’ll just play myself. Totally underrated.

- psurooster 4y agoDo you have recommendations of games you've enjoyed playing solo? I had a great tabletop group but moved to a new city a year ago. I've been thinking about playing, by myself, some of the games I'd purchased for our group that we never got to play. And, open to picking up something new as well.
- nafix 4y agoAgricola is a great solo board game. You can do one offs or there’s a sort of “legacy” type mode.
- JoshTriplett 4y agoElder Sign works really well as a solo game, in addition to being a fun co-op game.

I am actually playing Gloomhaven. We bought it to play with friends years ago, but it’s only collecting dust. I am fortunate enough to have the space to have the game always setup.
