I don't think asking your peer's opinions about upcoming big ticket item purchases is too unusual. Especially just as small talk in general.
- gnicholas 4y agoSure, people give their two cents all the time. But that's different from caring what decision the person makes at the end of the day. I can't imagine telling a friend that I care what car they buy.
