I feel that casting TSLA as a company without “real engineers” isn’t helpful nor is it truthful.
- lolinder 4y agoFor me, the measure of whether an engineer counts as "real" is if they're empowered to say no. You can have hundreds of qualified people who are called "engineers" and would be excellent in another environment, but if the culture is "If I say jump, you ask how high" you don't have an engineering culture, you have an autocracy.
