Market caps fluctuate, markets rise and fall. Its a dumb metric to use it as some kind of meaningful intel into a company.
- tartrate 4y agoWell, it's the market value in the current market, which is fluctuating, sure, but Tesla clearly decoupled from the DJ index 2.5mo ago (which has climbed since) and is on a steady decline. Means nothing? Means that the market believes increasingly less in Tesla.
