This is inevitable and artists need to learn to adapt and accept that AI is the new normal and it is here to stay.
We cannot ban stable diffusion or an chatGPT, even an open source version of AlphaCode may come sooner or later.
Is it AI garbage? sure, but pushing back won't fix anything really.
- Fricken 4y agoThe problem isn't that AI art is garbage, it's that the whole history of art got retconned. To someone who doesn't know any better it may as well all be just as valueless as AI generated art. There's no difference anymore between the machine generated art and anything you don't recognize from the pre-ai era.
