I realized that I was vague in places that might create misunderstanding. When I say, "eliminate sources of abuse", what I mean is, get rid of systems that hurt people (like mafias). When I say, "take measures to prevent further harm," what I mean is either get people the therapy they need, or imprison them as humanely as possible if there's no other option. I was trying not to be too wordy and long winded (as I have a tendency to do), but I realized this could come off rather ominous. So just to be crystal clear, I'm am advocate of nonviolence.
