Salary by Location
There was a recent post about YC companies not posting salary range on their job postings.
One of the reasons might be not knowing what to offer for a particular job in a specific region.
Multiple services provide salary info, and if you compare them, you will notice that salary data is inconsistent.
I have created a simple search form to list the salary info from multiple vendors so you can compare them in one place. In addition, it will show you a link to each source if you're interested in learning more.
Here is the link:

- Oras 4y agoI'm afraid salary data are not 100% accurate. That's why I mentioned the results are provided from the source. A few months ago, I tried to make an algorithm to extract salaries from job descriptions but didn't reach a high accuracy. Unlike clean text like news, where there are some proof reading, grammar check, ... etc, job postings don't get checked or validated most of the time. It is not just about numbers, some job postings will mention the company turn over, how much they have raised, or salary in hourly or weekly units. All these factors making it really hard to get 100% accuracy when extracting salaries from raw job postings.
