This is an incredibly well written piece. So much so that (in classic HN style of the first comment going on a complete tangent), I’m almost more interested in the form than the content. It’s got me thinking about persuasive writing in general and how far AI language models are from something like this.
Since I’m already on such a tangent, anyone have pointers on how to take my writing to that next level? Like, any educated writer can do the research and come up with all the points this article makes, and could then put them into prose that’s less… well… captivating. For example, if there are any professional authors of things like this reading, what kinds of questions do you ask yourself in the editing stage once you have the logic aspects of the content down or even the full first draft down?
