Making a shirt should be easy but robots aren't flexible enough. A perfect model is 3d printing of houses. Robots can't make homes the way they have been made traditionally. But they can, once the way houses are made was adapted to robots. With the new changes, 3d homes are becoming a reality. This industry is ripe for disruption since the big companies don't want to use technologies that would make their machines useless but a startup would not care. They can start with any method since they have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
