I wonder if anyone has ever tried negotiating an inflated title as a severance benefit. That would really push this to the next level.
- nsxwolf 4y agoWhy not? Severance is all about signing away your rights to sue for discrimination or misconduct in exchange for some token. It's all negotiable - I don't see why they wouldn't grant you a silly title in future reference checks, especially if you go as far as to refuse the cash payment.
