I experimented with these sorts of adversarial patterns a few years back. It was straightforward to develop a dazzle pattern which messed with your bog-standard Resnet, but they didn't remotely generalize well. Just using a different architecture or sometimes even a different pre-trained model was enough to thwart it.
- feet 4y agoThat's the thing I don't get, why are people making such a big deal about these adversarial patterns when they might not even work on any models that are actually in use?
