Ask HN: Transform XPaths into XML using relational data
Using an XPath map similar to:
root > people
person > person
person.first_name -> name/first
person.last_name -> name/last
person.age -> [@age]
account.person_id => person.person_id
account > person/account
account.number -> [@id]
What open source software is available that will query a database (that has a person and account table as implied by the XPath map above) to produce the following example XML document:
