Why hasn’t technology disrupted higher education already?
- rdtwo 4y agoHigher ed is 90% credential farming and 10% education. It has value mostly for the same reason crypto nfts have value, proof of status.
- jleyank 4y agoWhat would you have high tech do in, say, physics or chemistry? Gotta learn the jargon, memorize the recipes and learn the math. Doing personalized testing seems pretty boring and the ai/ml systems would have to be trained against the literature (and some kind of term knowledge added). There’s not much in the way of text in these fields. They already do dry labs.
