I wouldn't buy one for a pleasure craft, but even a small efficiency gain in ocean freight could turn the industry on its head.
- HenriTEL 4y agoMaybe the tech just does not scale for large propellers (it breaks, becomes less efficient or is too complicated to maintain). The company has been there for a few years now so if there was a real game changer I'm sure they would have accelerated much more.
- brk 4y agoLarge container ships already use variable pitch props.
