I once got annoyed at something I saw on a wikpedia talk page, so I wrote a response comment to it, pointing out all the numerous flaws in the argument. But I couldn't drop the subject, something about it kept bugging me... then an echo of a thought dawned on me so I went back and checked that son of a bitch's comment history: yep, it was me I was arguing with, I'd written the previous comment a few years earlier from totally the other side of the argument :)
