  Almost all twitter users are people who read tweets, not write them. So I think it will still impact their experience a lot. The good thing about twitter is being able to take in a lot of info fast. If this were me doing it - I'd make only the 140 first characters readable without a click. But then after that it makes sense to combine text threads of 10 tweets into a single text box rather than the makeshift (3/10) system people use now
