Programming Throwdown is a pretty good podcast Ive been listening to it for a few years. The first 20 or so episodes, they had a segment that focused on a specific programming language, the history, application and quirks which was a fun way to learn more about coding and the different tools (languages) available. They’ve since evolved to cover more practical topics such as test driven development, AI etc. it’s a good one. If you’re a python fan, Talk Python To Me is a great podcast. Covers so many topics within python from libraries, frameworks and special tools. The thing I like about these two podcasts is that they don’t assume that their listeners are primarily web developers. Since I don’t work in the web domain, it’s been tough to find a good podcasts that cover CS more broadly.
