I usually stay on Microsoft's happy path, running the latest versions of the OS on fully supported hardware. And I rarely change default settings, I'm not bothered by an icon for one of their games in the start menu. But those little icons for holidays, etc, that showed up in the search bar really bugged me. It bothered me so much that I searched for a way to get rid of them. If Microsoft manages to annoy a fanboy like me, they've really missed the mark.
