PAs can have a wide variety of tasks, and a talented PA could be one that's great at organizing plans, handling calls, implementing processes, have a whole slew of abilities that could be of higher value to the person than their writing skills. Such a person would still be a talented PA, just not a perfect platonic ideal of one.
