- terminalcommand 4y agoDidn't he operate in Germany? The country that allowed the fraud was Germany.
- konha 4y agoExactly. The scandal wasn’t so much that a company defrauded investors (happens) but that regulators didn’t catch on to it and actively interfered with attempts to uncover it.

- hackandthink 4y agoWireCard was really bad. Journalists (FT) who investigated and reported on the Wirecard scam were prosecuted.
