Isn't "make something fine but not uniquely great" just what Oracle does, as a rule?
- nine_k 4y agoThey are sufficiently uniquely great at getting government and big business contracts though. Their leverage is not necessarily in their technology (which can be of all kinds, form excellent to barely usable), but in the skill of selling it to particular markets, and access to that markets earned by decades of effort.
