Poll: Do you use ChatGPT in any productive way?
Hey HN, by now almost everyone here should have heard of ChatGPT. Many have already tried it out. I would be interested to know how many of you have used it for something productive. For example at work or at university.
- techn00 4y agoI use it for quick information on tech bits, or a starting point for some code: "How do I do X in terraform?"
- red_Seashell_32 4y agoThough it’s hard to get it to not completely rewrite text addint x3 more information, I’m using to cleanup text in presentation/talk I’m gonna do

- its-summertime 4y agoOne way to use this tool is to reduce the effectiveness of stylometry attacks by requesting that it rephrase what you have written. This can help to protect your writing from being identified based on its unique style.
- red_Seashell_32 4y agoWhy does it feel like you used ChatGPT for this? Also - if ain’t a secret - how do you get it not to make x2 longer with more details?
