- jleyank 4y agoYup. Pride. Mine doesn’t stink.
- PaulHoule 4y agoLucas is a flawed genius. It's a bit shocking how few films he has directed https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Lucas_filmography https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Lucas_filmography compared to say https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steven_Spielberg_filmography https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steven_Spielberg_filmography It's pretty clear that he hasn't been trusted to get near directing a feature film. When I look at Lucas's accomplishments I think the most remarkable thing he did was what he did at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucasfilm_Games https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucasfilm_Games where he really pioneered getting storytelling into videogames. He could have gone down the path of licensing chintzy games based on Star Wars but instead we got stuff like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_The_Empire_Strikes_Back_(1982_video_game) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_The_Empire_Strikes_... and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_(1983_video_game) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_(1983_video_game) which were ahead of the time. He saw that video games weren't up to the standard of the cinema and was an early pioneer in raising that standard.
