There are indoor stairs for the flats on the third floor (the door is on the second floor, and each upper floor usually has their own stairs/entrance). The indoor stairs tend to be narrower and really a pain when you have a bike or a stroller or grocery bags. Although most will leave their bike on the back stairs (outside only), and people often leave strollers on the ground floor.
