Don't try this at home. Cold water can crack the glass or cause other thermal stress.
- pifm_guy 4y agoTrue. But most panels are rated and tested for icy hail to hit it on a hot sunny day with the panel surface at 70 degrees C. But obviously doing this repeatedly might not be good for it - naturally hail on a super hot day is rare.
