Yes, frequently. My rent, water, and electric bills are paid by checks I send through my bank online, and I have hand-written checks to pay various taxes, donations, and the bill for my eye doctor. I receive checks from a tenant to pay rent, from contract work, tax refunds, and reimbursements for stuff I pay for in some of the organisations I belong to. In fact, counting both my personal accounts and the org account I'm treasurer for, I've probably sent or received two dozen checks just in the last month.
