I want to try VSCodium so much but the fact they use self signed certs leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I know it’s probably a whole lot of nothing, but if I install it on my work computer and something happens because of it I would be in a massive pickle.
- elashri 4y agoIs there a problem with git clone the repo and then build it locally? It doesn't take much time.
- mdaniel 4y agoI don't know if this falls into the "can't be bothered" category, but it's not horrific to build it by yourself, side-stepping whatever self-signed cert woes you're talking about
