There’s a difference between an “appeal to authority” logical fallacy and the “deferral to expertise” heuristic. Look it up. I can’t believe I have to explain this, but nobody on this earth knows everything: therefore we specialize, and we resort to other experts. That is the reality of being an agent of bounded rationality.
