Good, this is the ideal operational state of a company controlling the most personal data of billions of people. Meanwhile Facebook allows its employees to post jokes on TikTok, but also allows its security guards to read private messages of arbitrary users. Twitter lets its support engineers do CNN interviews, but also gives them a tab in the admin panel for every user called "Direct Messages."
I've got a lot more confidence that a security guard at Apple HQ won't read my iMessage threads than I do that a security guard at Facebook HQ won't read my Messenger threads (that actually happened!). If the price of that security comes at the freedom of highly paid executives to make jokes on TikTok, then so be it. I guess Apple is ruthless. That's why I trust them to guard my personal data.
