More men choose to be surgeons than women.
Nobody is "placed"
They choose.
Liberty.
Free association.
Choice.
People make choices.
2 to 4 years for nursing school
8 to 10 years+ for MD with surgical focus.
Have you asked yourself why women choose different careers?
Maybe with socialism we can force women to be surgeons at gun point.
Then we'll have equity!
Yay!!!
- lm28469 4y ago> Have you asked yourself why women choose different careers? idk, have you ? It certainly is much more complex than "they chose because freedom and liberty", because that's ignoring 99% of the social game we all play
- PM_me_your_math 4y agoI already told you why. Few women choose a decade of medical school. They choose nursing school. Choose is the important word here.
- lm28469 4y ago"Why did they chose nursing school ?" "Because they chose nursing school" With a logic like that the world must be a very simple place to navigate
- cuteboy19 4y agoIt places value on individual choice over uniform statistics. It may be that this choice is actually coerced in some way, but that is for us to prove. We cannot simply draw a line from statistical disparity to coercion
- PM_me_your_math 4y agoWomen choose less school over more school because most want to have babies at some point in their lives and 10 to 15 years of medical school doesn't lend itself. I thought that much was clear.
