"... findings showed that firms left the space as the collaborative benefits were small"
So there were not as many collaborative benefits as advertised. I don't find it very surprising because why would there be? It's hard enough to get collaborative ideas flourishing within individual firms. Just sharing a physical cafeteria does not do much especially since everybody's online anyway.
- dazc 4y agoI don't doubt that co-working has some benefit but the downside is so overwhelming I'm surprised these spaces still exist? Ironically, my single co-working collaboration success was meeting a fellow co-worker who knew about a couple of private offices becoming available locally, which we both snapped up at the first opportunity.
- galaxyLogic 4y agoThat is ironic, collaborating to get out of collaboration-space :-)
