I've been programming all my life, it's great to have the power to do almost anything logical with a computer. But even just CRUD can be a complicated hassle. Most APIs have idiosyncrasies that you don't learn from the docs. With Zapier for example I can wire A to B without having to setup a project, repo, dependencies, look at docs, error handling, I don't know 100 other things? That's awesome. Would I build, like, Honeywell's procurement system with a tool like that? No way.
