Xbox seems to do just fine getting people to buy Game Pass over offering games at full price. That changes the status quo of how games are bought and consumed enough that they really don't have to change the prior model of $70 entry fee + DLC that Sony is still using to entice anyone to switch who doesn't really want to play Sony exclusives. Yes - Sony are the ones to hold on to exclusives right now. Not Microsoft.
