I was thinking this exact question earlier today but for a slightly different reason. I'm on holiday and I used a "Henry" to vacuum up after my kids this morning. At home we use a cordless Dyson which is convenient but damn does it pale in comparison, despite the convenience and it cost 3-4x more than the "Henry" does. We've made things convenient with engineering, but they often suck in comparison to older technology.
