Observe that many of the problems detailed may be ascribed to bureaucracy or logistics, and that the quoted solutions were essentially 'national security' flag-waving / spending more money, and supply chain adaptability. When you've done a project before and the only parameters changing are known, these sorts of strategies are viable. This is not the case when you are attempting to execute in a novel space where R&D is required.
- moloch-hai 4y agoIt is proven it was only ever a five-year project to offer scope for graft. It is the same for US public-works projects, most especially urban tunnels and nuke plants. And, of course, military procurements. All perfectly legal!
