True; but as mainstream platforms keep fighting CSAM, the only "reliable" place to get it is specialized sites on the dark web, and governments have been quite competent at busting those and identifying their users. I much prefer them turning darkweb CSAM sites into honeypots, than them dragnetting huge portions of the population. At least the harm is limited to those who deserve it.
