Whatever one's opinions on Musk and Twitter, petty bureaucrats inserting themselves into the situation like this is pathetic
(Not unlike the EU regulator losers. Attacking Musk for his behavior or political or treatment of workers, sure, there are lots of valid criticisms. Attacking him because you think he encroached on your pathetic regulatory fiefdom, you need to get a life)
- jareds 4y agoPerforming your job of trying to enforce laws about safe residential accommodation and building codes is pathetic?

- ggm 4y agoNormally I wouldn't do this, but this is so hyperbolic it has to be either sarcasm or troll food surely?
- version_five 4y agoIt pisses me off to see petty little people on a power trip this way. It's neither of the things you said, maybe an angry reaction
- DemocracyFTW2 4y ago> petty little people on a power trip Ah yes, I can connect to that, can't bear that Musk guy's antics any more, either
- spindle 4y agoI totally agree with you, but I put part of the blame on the journalists here. They've made it sound as if the problem is merely whether the building is being used as intended, rather than whether the building is being used as agreed - and they've failed to point out that zoning (and, I guess, taxation) would potentially be completely undermined if the regulators allowed companies to break agreements on how buildings are used.
